New Job & Family Celebrations

I got a new job! Last week was filled with applying for jobs, interviews, and looking at jobs. I finally got hired at McNally Smith working with their Events Director and Outreach Director. In other words, I can finally put my last bucket list item on my resume. I have been really wanting to get an events planning and coordinating job or internship so I can say I have that experience. Now, I can do that, and not only that, but it's at one of my favorite places in the world.

I got hired on Friday and it was celebrated with shopping at the MOA with mom, sis, and my brother's fiance's mother, who had just flown in from SC. So needless to say, it was a fun day. We then went bridesmaid dress shopping and I found the most gorgeous dress. I would tell details, but then I would have to kill you. So you will just have to wait seven months until the wedding. I can't wait! It will probs be the most beautiful wedding in the world. This past weekend was Trogstad Christmas. Yea, I know, we're a month off of things. But it was an epic weekend. My man was able to come with! As soon as we arrived at the cabin, we went snowmobiling. We then ate lots of food, sat in the hot tub and floated down the lazy river, took a couple of runs down the water slide, ate amazing chili, drank lots of wine, was able to skype with my uncle overseas, rubbed it in that we were able to drink wine and he couldn't, played the gift game, got a sweet card game, and then had the most intense nerf gun fight that I have ever been in. Be jealous. My family is pretty cool.

peace and love.
