A couple of weeks ago I had the opportunity to assist my man on an engagement photoshoot for his friends. I was pretty excited when I heard that they wanted to do a more vintagey/40's styled shoot, however the location and outfits exceeded my expectations. First off, they look absolutely adorable, and are completely perfect for each other. The location is the exact type of location that I have always dreamed of doing a photoshoot at ... complete with fields of wild flowers and old cars. They also had a tree swing, chicken house, and lots of pine trees. It was the ultimate spot for the perfect couple, making my photo stoke at an ultimate high.

Two Month Update
Seems kind of crazy that my last post, exactly two months ago from tomorrow, was about graduation. I wish I could say how exciting my life is with a great, amazing, salary-paid job doing marketing or events in an extreme sports company. However, I haven't got that far. Yet. However, even though the hassling and nagging of my parent's to find a job seems like it has been going on for five years, it has ONLY been two months since graduation. And I am fortunate enough to say that I AM able to start paying off incredibly expensive loans, and still enjoy my life. I am doing about one or two photoshoots per month, working at my hometown's school district day care, and am currently teaching private swimming lessons for this week and next week. And have picked up other jobs such as working at the upcoming WWA National's stop in Minneapolis at the Pro Wakeboard Tour's booth, and modeling for McNally Smith's new website.
On a side note, I have to say that all of this time spending with kids is extremely rewarding. I feel like I became so uptight and career-minded and no fun while crunching all of those hours into college. Which I don't regret, graduating with honors and a 3.53 GPA. But being back with kids has brought me back to my fun, easy-going, humorous self again, and I love it!
I started working out again to get ready for my brother's wedding ... which is in two months. And after tonight's run, I decided I should have started working out five months ago. Oops.
I hope your summers are going great!

Post-Graduation
The man and me.
Beautiful black onyx/diamond ring from my mom.
Candy-filled owl!! I love him. And candy. Duh.
Motorcycle gear from dad :)
The fam minus sis.
I spent the following Monday after graduation at my apartment, which was way too lonely and quiet. So Tuesday I drove back to my parent's place. As soon as I got into town, I stopped at mom's work, where she instantly put me to some office/paper work, and helping out with kids at her daycare.
I then got an e-mail, asking to come back out to St. Paul and do some freelance PR for a musician. He is releasing his third album and needed help with data entry and mailings. Over the past three days, I have made a document consisting of over 430 press contacts, made address labels, prepared envelopes with stamps and labels, and mailed out 235 new albums. My mind has been turned to mush.
Last night and today I am babysitting my bro and his fiance's puppies. They are adorable. Oh yea, and their hedgehog. But he just sits around and doesn't really do much. At all. Ever. He hissed at me last night. Whatever.
Bro and fiance are in South Carolina visiting her parents. They are currently having some drinks while boogie boarding on the beach, which is directly out the back door of their place. My man is off in Seattle with his family.
I bought myself an iPhone to keep myself entertained. I had the hardest time figuring out how to make a freaking phone call. But I figured it out, downloaded a bunch of apps, and love it. And it's the new white one. I bought the most perfect wood case for it, and can't wait until it arrives. So message me if you want to get owned on 'Words with Friends' or follow me on Foursquare.
Tomorrow I get to head out to Chicago with mom to help my sis move to an off-campus apartment for her last year of college. I'm really hoping we can do some exploring and that the weather will work out. The past week has been filled with cardboard boxes, cleaning, packing, and trying to keep my life in order while living out of a suitcase.
I need a vacation. The mountains and surfing sounds great to me. Chicago will do for now.

Absolut Tempation
This is a few years old, but it's still an awesome way to market Absolut vodka. They are putting the product in a place where people are forced to wait and look at all of the items that are being placed in front of them. It would have been cool if, when lifting up the "Absolut Temptation" cardboard piece, it would have said "You Know You Want Me" or "I Need A Home" or "Take Me With You."

First Kiss
Well, I can't say my first kiss was this innocent. Nor did I high five my parent's friends after either. My first kiss actually happened in kindergarten (which doesn't technically count), and then the next was my sophomore year in high school. It happened in the back seat of a pickup truck. I was sitting on his lap because there were so many of us squished in the truck ... and he kissed me. Ugh. Really? In the backseat of a pickup truck? With five other people? Lame.
However, my most recent first kiss (and hopefully the last first kiss) was the BEST first kiss ever and makes every girl jealous. It was night time, and I was standing outside of a house in a circle, chatting with a bunch of guys. The man charged through the circle, grabbed my face, pushed me backwards to get outside of the circle, and kissed me. Romantic. Hot. Sexy. Love. And then I asked him what he was doing (I really am not fond of hardcore PDA). So I took him into the bathroom, where we made out the right way.

She's Got Talent
This girl is talented. Not only talented, but she's smart, and fun, and knows how to make YouTube videos. I don't tend to just sit around and watch music videos online, however hers caught my attention because it's not just her sitting on a couch with a ukulele and singing. It's constantly switching and you can tell she has put a lot of work into her videos. Makes me want to watch more!
